Your K12 Asset Pro mobile barcode scanner should have arrived with QR code scanning enabled, however if this is not working for some reason please see the below instructions for how to enable the scanner to read QR codes.
1) Swipe up from the middle of your screen to the top to reveal the “App Drawer” section below.
2) Tap on the “GZ-A605” scanner settings icon.
3) Tap on “Scan Setting”
4) Scroll down until you see “Decode Setting” and tap on it.
5) Tap on “Enable/Disable”
6) Tap on “Symbology Config”
7) You can now enable or disable various barcode symbologies. There is no harm in selecting additional symbologies but the majority of them are very uncommon. What appears to be a QR could could be a Data Matrix so if you are having trouble it could be worth enable this option. As you scroll down ensure that “QR” is checked so that it will be enabled. After you have made your selections they will automatically be saved and you can now exit the screen.
