Troubleshooting Software Update

First: When Prompted for Update

1) When prompted to update your scanner software DO NOT press the “Update” button. Instead press the “Learn More” button.

2) Then click the “Update” button and your update will automatically be installed.

Troubleshoot: If you click “Updated” when prompted for Update

1) After pressing the initial “Update” button the next “Update” button can be hidden behind one of the main device controls. See next step to get around the issue and continue with software update.

2) Press the circular “Home” button.

3) Press and hold on the K12 Asset Pro icon

 

4) Click on “App Info”

 

5) Click “Uninstall” and then Confirm when prompted

Next: Download New Software

6) Use your finger to swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open the app drawer

7) Click on “Play Store”

8) Click in the search bar at the top of the screen

9) Search “K12 Asset Pro”

10) Select “K12 Asset Pro”

11) Click “Install”

12) Click “Open”

13) Log in using your regular credentials! (Your client name will be the XXXX part of your school’s URL: https://XXXX.k12asset.com)
