1) You can clone an asset either by clicking on the light blue “clone” button when looking at a list view or by selecting “Clone Asset” from the actions dropdown when looking at a single asset.
2) After you have clicked on the button to clone an asset, an Add New Asset window will open up that will have identical information except that it will have no values for Asset Tag, Serial Number, and Last Audit Date. You will simply need to add in the Asset Tag and Serial number of the new asset and click “Save”
