1) Go to “Settings” on the left-side navigation menu, then click on “Asset Models”
2) Click the “Create New” button.
3) Complete all relevant fields.
4) [Optional] If you need to add a new Manufacturer, click the “New” button next to the Manufacturer field and then add the new Manufacturer name in the pop-up window.
5) [Optional] If you need to add a new Category, click the “New” button next to the Category field and then add the new Category name in the pop-up window.
6) If the model should be depreciated, select the correct depreciation rule. If the correct depreciation rule is not in the list you will need to leave the New Model screen and first add a new depreciation rule. (To add a new depreciation rule click on “Settings” in the left-side navigation and then click on Depreciation.)
7) Click the “Save” button to save the new Model.
