Your account will automatically sync with Infinite Campus every night, however you can manually initiate a sync at anytime from your Users list (see Step 17 below).
1) In your Infinite Campus Main Menu navigate to “Instruction” and then “Digital Learning Applications Configuration”
2) On the “Digital Learning Applications Configuration” screen click on “Other OneRoster Provisioning Credentials”
3) After clicking on “Other OneRoster Provisioning Credentials” you will be presented with a list of all the existing connections. Click on the “Generate New OneRoster Connection” button in order to establish a new connection with K12 Asset Pro.
4) You will now be presented with choosing which version of OneRoster to use. Select the “OneRoster 1.2” version and then click on the blue “Generate” button.
5) You will now be presented with a screen with all the details regarding the newly created connection. On this screen you can rename the connection at the top so you will know what it is in the list of other OneRoster credentials on the previous screens. This screen also has the Client ID, Secret, Token URL, and Base URL that you will need when entering information in K12 Asset Pro.
6) In your K12 Asset Pro account, click on “Admin Settings” in the lower left side of your screen.
7) Click on the Infinite Campus Sync icon.
8) Be sure the “Enable Infinite Campus Integration” checkbox is checked. Fill in the InfiniteCampus Client ID, InfiniteCampus Client Secret, and InfiniteCampus Token URL that you received in Step 5. Then click “Save.”
9) Next select which data field you would like to map from Infinite Campus to use as the K12 Asset Pro username. We typically suggest using Email, although this is dependent on if your district has included all user’s email addresses in your Infinite Campus account.
10) You will now be able to map the Sites/School names from your Infinite Campus account to the corresponding Sites in your K12 Asset Pro account. You may be using slightly different names for schools between the two accounts so you will need to map both names to each other. If you have sites/schools in your Infinite Campus that do not need to be mapped to a K12 Asset Pro site you can leave the dropdown on Select Site. Then click the Save button.
11) Navigate to the “Users” list in K12 Asset Pro. In the upper right-hand corner you can click on the Infinite Campus button to sync your Infinite Campus staff and students into your K12 Asset Pro account. Your account will automatically sync with Infinite Campus every night, however you can click this button at anytime to invoke a sync, a manual sync takes several 3-10min to complete depending on the size of your user list.
