Your account will automatically sync with PowerSchool every night, however you can manually initiate a sync at anytime from your Users list (see Step 17 below)
1) In your PowerSchool admin account navigate to System Management > Server > Plugin Configuration.
2) Click the Install button.
3) Click on the Choose File button.
4) Navigate to the folder where you have saved the Divot Asset Pluging.xml file. Select the file and click on Upload.
5) Click the Install button.
6) Click the Register button.
7) You should now see a success screen. Click the OK button.
8) On the Installed Plugins page find the Divot Assets Vendor Plugin and click on the check box under Enable/Disable.
9) Click the Enable button.
10) Click on the Divot Assets Vendor Plugin link.
11) Click on the Data Provider Configuration link.
12) Ensure that Access Level for v1 APIs is set to Full Access. Keep this page open and open another page with your K12 Asset Pro account. You will be copy/pasting your Client ID and Client Secret into K12 Asset Pro.
13) You must be signed in to K12 Asset Pro as a Super Admin. Go the the Settings link in the upper right-hand corner (double gear icon).
14) Click on the PowerSchool Sync button.
15) Select the Enable PowerSchool Sync checkbox. Then copy/paste in your Client ID and Client Secret into the appropriate fields. Then click Save.
16) You will now be able to map the Sites/School names from your PowerSchool account to the corresponding Sites in your K12 Asset Pro account. You may be using slightly different names for schools between the two accounts so you will need to map both names to each other. If you have sites/schools in your PowerSchool that do not need to be mapped to a K12 Asset Pro site you can leave the dropdown on Select Site. Then click the Save button.
17) Navigate to the Users list in K12 Asset Pro. In the upper right-hand corner you can click on the PowerSchool Sync button to sync your PowerSchool staff and students into your K12 Asset Pro account. Your account will automatically sync with PowerSchool every night, however you can click this button at anytime to invoke a sync, a manual sync takes several 3-10min to complete depending on the size of your user list.
