To use your mobile barcode scanner WITHOUT associating a google account you must download the Aurora App Store in order to download the K12 Asset Pro App onto your device. Note: you must be connected to wifi.
1) Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open the “app drawer”. Then click on Chrome.
2) If this is the first time you have opened Chrome you will need to press the Accept button.
3) You can say “No Thanks” to the Turn on sync question.
4) Tap in the search bar for Chrome.
5) Search for Auroraoss.com
6) When the page loads, click on the three lines to access the menu in the top left corner.
7) Click on “DOWNLOADS”
8) You will likely be shown an advertisement that you can close.
9) You will be on the download page but will probably see and advertisement at the top that you can scroll past.
10) Click on the folder for AuroraStore.
11) Click on the folder for Latest.
12) Click on the latest.apk link.
13) Click on Download Anyway.
14) Click on the Open button.
15) Click on the Settings button.
16) Toggle the button to the right to allow from this source.
17) Click on Install.
18) You can now swipe up from the bottom of the screen to access the “App Drawer” again. Click on Aurora.
19) On the welcome window click Next.
20) Then click Finish.
21) When it asks you to login in, select Anonymous.
22) Click on the magnifying glass button to search.
23) Search for K12 Asset Pro.
24) Select K12 Asset Pro.
25) Click Install (or Open).
26) You can now use K12 Asset Pro on your scanner!
