Status Labels

You can create any, and as many, status labels as is helpful for the flow of assets in your district. A few things to be aware of:

Status Label Categories

There are three categories of Status Labels: Deployable, Pending, Disposed.
Deployable assets are active assets and also have the ability to be checked out. When a deployable asset is checked out they will assume a meta status of “deployed”. Typically the bulk of your assets will be in Deployable type category.

Pending assets are not able to be checked out to users/assets/locations. Additionally, if an asset is currently checked out to a user/asset/location it will automatically be checked back in when the asset is updated to any Pending type of status. This status is typically used for assets that are out for repair, lost, still being set up, etc.

Disposed category status is reserved only for the Disposed status.

Creating a New Status

To create a new status simply click on the “Create New” button in the top right hand of your screen. You will then be prompted to name the new status and select either Deployable or Pending category.

You can choose the color of the icon as you would like it to appear in the left-hand navigation.

You can select if you would like the status to appear in the list of status on the left side navigation.

You can select if you would like the status to be the default status for newly created assets. (Unless you have selected otherwise, Active will always be the default status for new assets).

You may also add any notes to help explain to other users what the intended use of this status is.
